Alan Sillitoe probably put it best when he said, “If you get the whip hand over someone, you go dead from the toenails up.” This is the best explanation I can see for the cruelty and brutality that I have witnessed.

Cruelty. Inhuman treatment of a fellow human being. It could be manifested in either the physical form or mental form too.

In my opinion, a person who has thought of getting the whip hand over someone - has gone dead when s/he concieved the idea. The delivery ... expected - Its the conception which is important. That is why I think ideas are so paramount. That is why I think God tells in the Bible, I know your heart, I have seen your thoughts. And that is why I think Jesus tells that a man has committed adultry when he lusts over a woman, when he looks at her with lust and thinks of dirty things.
Having said all this, we live in a world which bombards us with ... you know what. Are things more difficult for us now?
I really dont thnk so. It must have been hard even when Jesus said that. I mean at hat time, He lived in a world where men could simply take the woman. Well, they had their own difficulties. We have ours.
One need not wear blinders. I'm totally against men or anybody esle telling women to cover up and walk or whatever. My stand is that there is no - self discipline. Oh that dos not mean I like the short skirts or that I always wear long skirts - Nope. I like to do what I like to do. I know to handle myself well. And all that needs to be said when a guy is ogling is - What you are gonna marry me? The M word is a scarry word for men. And anyways, my point is - self discipline ... only the individual concerned can effectively think and either learn to respect oneself and the other and refrain from using the whip hand or choose to do other wise.
On lighter note ... God surely must be one well entertained psychiartist ...
Do forgive my spelling mistakes. I am reading up in between my classes - Sometimes I do need this break to simply think of anything else other than school, quizzes, papers, corrections and lesson plans !!! Now, I got to go.
